About the Site

At Duke University, our highly regarded scientific, medical and engineering research endeavors annually receive hundreds of millions of dollars in federal grant support.

Duke is well positioned to participate in the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) which aims to invest $15 billion in activities that promote job growth and retention while also promoting scientific advancement.

This information site offers announcements, documents, links and other resources to help Duke faculty and staff understand our institutional participation in ARRA. Faculty members who intend to submit grants are encouraged to monitor this site for updates and further communications regarding Duke support and requirements.

These items are available on the site:

  • ARRA Agency Websites: A listing of participating agencies and institutes with links to their recovery websites.
  • ARRA Funding Opportunities: A listing of recovery act funding opportunities which is updated daily.
  • ARRA Resources at Duke: Resources for faculty and staff - from information about the ARRA Response Team - to help in preparing proposals, gathering just-in-time information, and planning for the conduct of projects supported by stimulus funding.
  • ARRA Jobs at Duke: Information and an application link to Duke's Human Resources Department in anticipation of the need to hire for a variety of research, technical, and clerical support positions in the coming weeks and months.
